Club Officers.

Our Board of Directors set field rules and policies for the club. We welcome anyone that would like to serve on the board. Nominations are held during our October meeting, followed by election in November. If you're a current member, please consider serving as a member of the board.

Paul McGuan

President

Paul joined the board in 2023 as vice president and then took over the presidency in 2024. Paul is an avid competition pattern pilot and serves as Contest Director for our annual Pattern Event. Paul’s also a builder and flies both electric and nitro powered aircraft.

Bruce McBee

Vice President

Bruce McBee was elected to the board of directors in 2026 and was mainly responsible for both design and production of our new pit tables now at the field.Bruce is a builder, an excellent pilot, flies a Radio Master equipment, and is always ready and available to help other members at the field.

Mark Polzin

Secretary/Treasurer

Mark has served as Secretary/Treasurer since 2019. Mark is responsible for managing new member applications and renewals. He also serves to balance the club’s books and acts as the club’s main point of contact with the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA).

Doug Colton

Director

Doug has served as Director since 2021 and also manages the crew of volunteers which keep our airfield looking great.

Steve Huelsbeck

Director

Steve not only serves as a Director, he's also our club photographer and raffle manager. All of our events generally include a raffle or auction of some kind to help support the club. Steve provides many of the photos used in our newsletter.

Tom Johnson

Director

Tom has been a director since 2022 and is also responsible for food purchases which support our concession services during events. You'll find Tom often at the airfield. If you have a suggestion that you would like to bring to the board, you can relay it to Tom or come to one of our monthly club meeting.

James Beckley

Director

James joined the board in 2025 as a director. James has the major responsibility of managing our concession services during events which include forecasting food purchases, setup and teardown, recruiting service personnel to manage sales, and reporting profit and loss of the activity.
